एक समय था जब लोग डिजिटल कन्वर्सेशन के लिए केवल टेक्स्ट मैसेज का सहारा लेते थे. तब लोगों को मैसेज पैक्स लेने की भी जरूरत होती थी. स्माइली भेजने के लिए भी की-पैड ही काम आता था. तब मैसेज भी काफी आसान होते थे. मल्टीमीडिया मैसेज तेजी से भेजना से किसी सपने से कम नहीं था. लेकिन बाद में वॉट्सऐप जैसे चैट ऐप्स आए और खासकर वॉट्सऐप ने भारत समेत दुनियाभर के लोगों के स्मार्टफोन्स में जगह बना ली.
आज के समय में वॉट्सऐप से ना केवल मैसेज भेजे जाते हैं बल्कि फोटोज, वीडियो समेत ढेरों डॉक्यूमेंट फाइल्स भी भेजे जाते हैं. इन सब फैसिलिटी की वजह से वॉट्सऐप उपयोग में काफी आसान है और इससे मैसेज करना काफी रोचक भी होता है. आने वाले दिनों में इसमें पेमेंट फीचर भी सभी के लिए आने वाला है. बहरहाल, चूंकि इसमें डॉक्यूमेंट्स समेत मल्टीमीडिया फाइल्स भेजना आसान है तो ये आपके फोन का स्टोरेज भी काफी लेता है. क्योंकि ढेरों कॉन्टैक्ट्स आपको भी कई फोटोज-वीडियोज सेंड करते होंगे. आपको किसी पर्सनल चैट से ऐसे फाइल्स ना भी मिलें तो कई ऐसे ग्रुप्स आपके चैट ऐप में मौजूद होंगे जो आपके स्मार्टफोन का स्टोरेज भरते होंगे.

– वॉट्सऐप ओपन करें और ऐप के बॉटम में सेटिंग्स ऑप्शन में जाएं.
– इसके बाद डेटा और स्टोरेज यूसेज ऑप्शन में क्लिक करें.
– अब स्टोरेज ऑप्शन में क्लिक करें.
यहां आप घटते क्रम में उन चैट की लिस्ट देख सकते हैं जो सबसे ज्यादा स्पेस लेते हैं.
Android:
– ऐप ओपन करें और टॉप राइट कॉर्नर में तीन डॉट्स में क्लिक करें.
– इसके सेटिंग्स ऑप्शन में जाएं और यहां डेटा और स्टोरेज यूसेज ऑप्शन में क्लिक करें.
– अब स्टोरेज यूसजे ऑप्शन में क्लिक करें.
यहां फिर आपको घटते क्रम में उन चैट्स की लिस्ट नजर आ जाएगी, जो आपके फोन का सबसे ज्यादा स्टोरेज लेते हैं. आपको ये भी ध्यान रहना चाहिए कि यही चैट्स काफी सबसे ज्यादा डेटा भी इस्तेमाल करते हैं.
